RAC (remixed artist collective) is well known for putting an upbeat yet chill spin to plenty of artists’ tracks ranging from Tokyo Police Club to U2. This remix features Southeast Asian singer/songwriter Zee Avi and turns her usual folky, acoustic serenade into a funky yet laid-back electronic tune.

Of Monsters and Men—Little Talks
The jingly-jangly track “Little Talks” was just put out by sextet Of Monsters and Men… I’ll put a hundred bucks down that this track will be on some Target, Apple, or Prius ad in the near future. The playful back-and-forth banter of the female and male vocals is extremely reminiscent of the Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros‘ track “Home” (not coincidentally they seem to get compared to the band quite often). It comes as no surprise that these talented six hail from Iceland, the small nation that has since spit out other extremely talented musicians such as Sigur Ros and Bjork.
