If there’s one country that never ceases to impress me with the amount of unique electronic artists that it puts out, it has to be France. With classics like Justice, Air, and Daft Punk and up-and-comers like Dirtyphonics, Stereoheroes, and Kavinsky, the French Electronic music scene is always ripe with talent.

Monsieur Adi is just one more talent added to the mix. His remix of Beyoncé‘s track “End of Time” was just leaked via his SoundCloud and, at a time when a lot of electro house becomes indistinguishable from the next artist, Monsieur Adi injects his own breath of life into the track. Diplo articulately says on his SoundCloud, ”heres a sampler of this music im goin to give away free inna few days.”

Apparently, the new EP (titled Express Yourselfi) is rumored to feature contributions from Datsik, Excision, Elephant Man, and Sabi aside from the obvious namesake Dipo track “Express Yourself,” which features Nicky Da B on vocals.

The Kills released “Pale Blue Eyes” on the b-side of the single, “The Last Goodbye,” which was released on the 13th of February 2012. The track was originally released by the Velvet Underground in 1969. Enjoy.

Midnight City is one of M83‘s best song hands down, so seeing that it was covered by a relatively unknown duo called The Knocks, I was a little taken aback. The track also features a Mandy Lee on vocals. The track is surprisingly original and gives its own flavor to the already magnificent song.

Electric Guest is a duo hailing from Los Angeles consisting of Asca Taccone and Matthew Compton. If they sound eerily familiar it’s because Danger Mouse (producer of several Gorillaz tracks, member of Gnarls Barkley, member of Broken Bells, and contributor to the Rome with Daniele Luppi) produced the tracks. Electric Guest definitely has the whole Broken Bells vibe going on that reaches even further beyond the instrumentation. Their latest track is titled “This Head I Hold.” You can also check out two earlier tracks from their SoundCloud titled “American Daydream” and “Troubleman.” Enjoy.

RAC (remixed artist collective) is well known for putting an upbeat yet chill spin to plenty of artists’ tracks ranging from Tokyo Police Club to U2. This remix features Southeast Asian singer/songwriter Zee Avi and turns her usual folky, acoustic serenade into a funky yet laid-back electronic tune.

The jingly-jangly track “Little Talks” was just put out by sextet Of Monsters and Men… I’ll put a hundred bucks down that this track will be on some Target, Apple, or Prius ad in the near future. The playful back-and-forth banter of the female and male vocals is extremely reminiscent of the Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros‘ track “Home” (not coincidentally they seem to get compared to the band quite often). It comes as no surprise that these talented six hail from Iceland, the small nation that has since spit out other extremely talented musicians such as Sigur Ros and Bjork. New, purchasable Jack White single off of his upcoming “debut” (not sure if I would call it his debut album, he’s already had a lot of experience in other projects) album titled Blunderbuss. The album represents White‘s first time releasing solo material. You can check out his website here.
