Well, well, well… Here’s something I thought that I’d never see. Lately, it seems artist collaborations have been catching me totally off guard.
Bristol-based dubstep producer Joker teamed up with Indiana-based rapper Freddie Gibbs to produce a very very unique sounding track. I always pinned Joker as being more of a grime inclined producer if he was ever to collaborate with a genre other than dubstep. Well, I was pleasantly surprised: Freddie Gibbs‘ signature extremely smooth flow juxtaposed with Joker‘s very UK- garage sounding backdrop actually makes for a really great track.
Check out the track and I guarantee it’ll be the best electronic/hip-hop collaboration you’ve heard in a while.
