From Italy to Texas to Virginia, I have moved around. I have varying interests from architecture, culture, politics, literature and social dynamics to food, fashion, and the art world. I value the educated opinions of anyone who is willing to share, and find that writing my thoughts out allows for better understanding than anything else. Having grown up outside of the U.S., I like to think I have a different way of looking at things and how they impact their surroundings and/or the world. I especially enjoy researching the connectivity of unrelated fields and mediums, seeing how they influence one another, and in turn bring some sort of change to some sort of field.

Sean Simons Prudish Americans Abroad: We Should Get Lost in the City June 16, 2011 Students studying abroad expect the conveniences of home, which is both insulting to the country they are visiting, and incredibly selfish.
Sean Simons Differing Lifestyle of Europe and America: a Cure for Stress? May 31, 2011 The happier the employee or student, the better the work. It seems like being stress-free would make people work less, or look at the world apathetically as though they have no goal, but I think the key realization is seeing that each individual is their own goal. Everything we work towards and for in life is to advance ourselves, and what good is that if we simply stress what little free time we have away?
Sean Simons And Yet There is Hope May 26, 2011 People are supposed to invigorate each other, stimulating ideas and thoughts in their peers through real-world interaction and involvement. The reality of communicating online is that it is destroying the natural bond we as human beings have with each other—that sacred of all sacred things, a connection.
Sean Simons Too Many Questions, Not Enough Random May 4, 2011 I find myself avoiding college as a writing topic, because for me the college lifestyle is no different than anything else. Depending on other people’s college experience to make decisions regarding your own is a sad start to what is idealized as the ‘college life’.
