Well not sure what there is to say about myself really, other than - I'm awesome!! No, for real though. I am here studying at the University of North Carolina and enjoying every moment of it. My interests lie in writing and precolonial African history, and recently I have been thinking that I would like to go into journalism as a career. However, my other passion is Basketball and it comes before everything else. In fact it was one of the determining reasons that i chose UNC and presently I am playing for the UNC JV team.

President Obama's visit to UNC-Chapel Hill was accompanied by a remarkable speech, compelling ideas, and a feeling that he really connected with young people and their issues. He was one of the best speakers I have ever seen.

The reason that there is such a compelling argument for universal health care is on the basis that it is part of the social and moral contract of societies. There can be no equality or true understanding of an individual mandate in a system where health care is seen as a tradable commodity.
