I’m a sophomore at Georgetown University, originally from the great commonwealth of Pennsylvania (more specifically, the town of Collegeville; yeah, it's a real place). My interests range from international security to history to WaWa gas stations. I also have frequent existential crises concerning my favorite food.

The economy and jobs have been thrust unceremoniously into my life, particularly as the unemployment rate for recent grads continues to rise. I realize the importance of pursuing policy solutions- I can't help wondering why Congress doesn't feel the same way.
Reflections on the White House Rally

As I looked around the throngs of people at the White House, I realized that most of them were students and young people who, like me, watched the world change before their eyes when they were only children. The way our generation looks at the world has been colored largely by the actions of Osama bin Laden. We should remember that.
