Though I am originally from Ellicott City, Md., I've lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland for the past eight years. I am currently a junior at the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in broadcast journalism. My passion is pop culture. I'm fascinated by what's trending today and what was considered trendy in the past. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at my university, be it with the College Park Scholars program or the journalism school. I love meeting new people and enjoy activities in which I can work with others. I've dabbled in all types of journalism on campus from print and online, to radio and television, and that takes up a lot of my time. In the past I've worked as a multimedia reporter for The Diamondback and as News Director at WMUC 88.1 FM in College Park. I look forward to new experiences and can't wait to see what comes next.
