Cathryn Sloane

I recently graduated from The University of Iowa with a B.A. in English and a concentration in Creative Nonfiction Writing. Journalism and writing are two of my biggest passions and I would love to be a columnist or feature writer for a magazine someday. I previously worked as a metro reporter for The Daily Iowan (the student newspaper at Iowa) and interned for both ALIVE Magazine and Fox 2 KTVI, both of which are based in St. Louis, Missouri. Having been born and raised in a suburb of St. Louis, I am a die-hard Cardinals fan. When I'm not writing or obsessing over the Cards, I love spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, and repeatedly watching episodes of Gilmore Girls and Friends.
