I was born in Los Angeles, but grew up in Texas and Missouri. In high school I participated in mock trial and student government because I've always been interested in law and politics. I believe that people should specialize in what they are good at, which is why I chose to attend the University of Rochester, which has no required courses. I am a political science and history double major, with a legal studies minor. My focuses are nationalism, state building, destabilization tactics, counterinsurgency, civil war, macroeconomics, constitutional law, criminal law, and African history. I write prolifically. Poetry, plays, newspaper articles, essays, and short stories are all in my repertoire. As politicking means everything to me, I participate in Israel Council, UR Libertarians, College Republicans, and Students for a Democratic Society.
