I have to agree with nearly everything you said, the special effects went way beyond anything recent, with a tiny budget as well. I have to recommend this film to anyone, so long as they are not squeamish. My only question: When is Blomkamp going to make another movie? I await with baited breath. Many thought he had promise, sure - but I think this film far, far exceeded anyone's expectations. I was just blown away by the sheer quality of it, despite the low budget. The film's also going to be sentimental to me for quite a while, considering that one of the last things I did in San Diego before leaving for university was to watch District 9 with one of my closest friends.<br><br>Here's to hoping this won't be a one-shot wonder, and we'll see more of the same quality from Blomkamp in the future.
